A few weeks ago we mentioned that Maria was going to model with her dog Gemini for the Humane Society of New York charity. The beautiful diva and her little Chihuahua strutted their stuff on the catwalk wearing outfits designed by the diva herself. The event was a success and was enjoyed by everyone who attended. Maria had a good time and before the event said, “The Humane Society does a lot for homeless animals, feeding animals, just taking care of them, so I’m really excited about it. WWE Diva Melina Perez broke her ankle recently in the ring. The two time Women’s Champion was fighting together with Mickie James against Smackdown divas Natalya and Victoria when the injury took place. Perez has spoken to WWE about her injuries which may keep her from wrestling for the next five months.

Former WWE Diva search girl Leyla Milani plays a starring role in the classic horror film ‘Wrestlemaniac’. Milani placed second in the 2005 diva search out of over 8000 applicants. The film tells a story of a former Mexican wrestling professional who has gone insane and been exiled to a small deserted town. The ghost town, called ‘La Songre De Dios’; or the blood of god, is the perfect spooky setting for this horror flick.

WWE Diva Mickie James is still in the lead for the Women’s Championship after beating Katie Lee Burchill. The results were no surprise, with Mickie James being the favourite and expected to win the match hands down. The Night of Champions took place on the 29th of June at the American Airline Centre in Dallas, Texas.
