WWE diva Beth Phoenix has managed to hold on to her gold and retain her title as Champion. The Glamazon defeated her opponent Candice Michelle in the ring during No Mercy. The winner previously broke Candice’s clavicle and aggravated the old injury during her attack.

Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix has said that Candice Michelle was not prepared to take her on in the ring. She boasts that she will show her opponents no mercy and that anyone willing to oppose her will have to watch out. During the match against Candice Michelle, the Glamazon’s boyfriend Santino Marella grabbed her foot and prevented a potential pinfall. Phoenix was not impressed saying that it only served to distract her during the fight. Marella may have prevented a pinfall, but he got a hard kick from Candice Michelle as a result. Phoenix commenced to launch a hard hitting offence that proved to be too much for Michelle. Candice Michelle had previously been confident of a win, and she fought hard against the Glamazon.
