Former WWE Diva search girl Leyla Milani plays a starring role in the classic horror film ‘Wrestlemaniac’. Milani placed second in the 2005 diva search out of over 8000 applicants. The film tells a story of a former Mexican wrestling professional who has gone insane and been exiled to a small deserted town. The ghost town, called ‘La Songre De Dios’; or the blood of god, is the perfect spooky setting for this horror flick.

The storyline is a small amateur cast and crew of a low budget pornography driving through Mexico to a beach where they can shoot their film. Leyla Milani plays the role of one of the leading porn stars with the name of Dallas. At the beginning of the film, the crew realises that they do not have enough gas in their tank to continue and are forced to turn back in the direction of the nearest petrol station. In doing so, they have to pass through La Songre De Dios, where their car breaks down on the border. Legend has it that the town is home to a deranged wrestler who was put there after going crazy and killing loads of people. Although the girls are reluctant, the film director decides that they will do the filming there instead. One by one the cast and crew get gruesomely murdered and it is up to them to find a way to escape from the crazed wrestler.
The film has received good reviews and is said to have a unique story line. Worth a watch for horror film fans and wrestling enthusiasts!
