Natalya

WWE diva Natalya has grown up amongst a family of wrestlers and is the first ‘third generation diva’ that exists.  She grew up watching her father, Jim Neidhart (the Anvil) on the TV, and on Sunday evenings her grandfather would cook a large family dinner with wrestling as an after dinner treat. Natalya and her cousins learned how to wrestle and manage the home-made ring during these social evenings and helped shape her career as it is today.

NatalyaNatalya had hopes of becoming a journalist in her younger years, but her dreams changed into becoming a wrestler. While doing a tour, the beautiful diva had a serious injury in Japan when she tore her meniscus. Natalya was forced to fight on her injured knee, and was sure it was a sign that she was to give up wrestling. Of her injury the diva says, “It traumatized me so much that I wanted to quit wrestling.”

In 2006, WWE Natalya met several other wrestlers who had suffered from injuries and near-death experiences. This encouraged the diva to return to wrestling and to fulfil her dreams. She was hired by the WWE and has returned stronger than ever. The knee injury has made her more determined than ever to keep going in the world of wrestling.
