WWE Diva Mickie James is still in the lead for the Women’s Championship after beating Katie Lee Burchill. The results were no surprise, with Mickie James being the favourite and expected to win the match hands down. The Night of Champions took place on the 29th of June at the American Airline Centre in Dallas, Texas.

Katie Lee Burchill put up a good fight, but did just not have what it takes to beat Mickie James in the ring. Burchill joined the WWE in 2006 and is working in RAW as Paul Burchill’s storyline sister. The two divas have fought on several occasions before, and Katie Lee Burchill has beaten James as well. The aspiring diva claimed that James had slept her way to the top and pinned her twice on two subsequent matches. Katie Lee came up short on this match though although she had previously stated that she would win!
