WWE Diva Mickie James is in full support of Generation Rescue; a group that supports the fight against autism. The spokeswoman of Generation Rescue is famous actress Jenny McCarthy, whose son was diagnosed with autism in 2005.
“It’s important that people understand autism”, says the Women’s Champion. “There are tons of illnesses out there and people really should be aware of these things and help people who need it.” The WWE has joined Generation Rescue in their fight and hope to encourage people to donate money to the awareness group.
When asked about her thoughts on the World Wrestling Entertainment, Jenny McCarthy replies enthusiastically. “It’s one of the greatest, most professional organizations I’ve worked with, without a doubt. The fact that they’re opening up their publicity arm for us shows you again how great this organization truly is.” The actress goes on to explain that parents with autistic children need to be given hope and learn that there are things that they can do to help their child. When her son was diagnosed a few years ago, she was not given any hope at all by her doctor, and it was only when she found Generation Rescue that she felt that there were things to look forward to. She is grateful to the group and is now helping them to spread the word.
